Carpeting Your Home - What's The Process?​

First things first – we will come and measure the area required for new carpet, at the same time we can give advice on the type of carpet – eg wool or synthetic; price level and colour, and we’ll bring samples for you to choose from. You can also visit our store in Onehunga to view our extensive range. We will generally come and measure within 24-48 hrs of your enquiry.

We will then provide a written, final quote within 24 hours.

Note our quote can include costs for the following:

· Uplifting and disposing of your existing carpet and underlay

· Supply of new underlay, carpet and metal trims

· Full installation of underlay, carpet and trims

· Moving of furniture if that is required

Once the quote is accepted, we will ask for a 50% deposit and we can order the carpet from our suppliers. At the same time, we will arrange the date for your installation. As we generally receive delivery of the carpet within 48 hours of order, your installation can take place quickly, depending on the availability of an installer.

Sometimes new carpet and underlay can be thicker than what you had, and this can affect the closing of doors. We work with a specialist door trimmer who can come and adjust the doors to fit with your new carpet. Note, this is an additional cost.

Our carpets are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and can be for up to 20 years, depending on the supplier. We also guarantee the installation for 12 months. But you also have the security of the Consumer Guarantees Act, which we will adhere to in case of problems outside the warranty period.

We do not request final payment until you have advised us that you are completely happy with all aspects of your new carpet and the installation process. Our aim is 100% satisfaction. And in return all we ask is that you recommend us to your friends and give us a good review on Trust Pilot.
